The Bartlett family have operated the Smokehouse Restaurant since 2004. Chip "Boss Hogg" Bartlett has been in the food service industry since 1992. Boss Hogg does all of the smoking of the meats himself. The whole Bartlett family is involved. Boss Hogg's wife Rosemary, and their two children help make their customer's experience at the Smokehouse memorable. Since they are not a franchise or corporately owned, they are quite flexible. This allows customers to get what they truly want. Customer service is definitely priority number one with the Bartletts. Boss Hogg prides himself in providing beautifully smoked meat. He takes special care in selecting only the finest quality (or cuts) of meat. He uses light fruit wood, ie. apple and cherry wood, to provide a smokey flavor without masking the taste of the meat. Boss Hogg serves his barbeque without BBQ sauce. He leaves the saucing to you.
